GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice spoke at Kent GOP's 124th Annual Lincoln Dinner in Grand Rapids on Wednesday.
The event, part of her book tour, was at 6:30 p.m. at DeVos Place.
Rice's visit will be her only stop in Michigan to promote her new book, " No Higher Honor, A Memoir of My Years in Washington."
Rice discussed differences of opinion within the Bush administration, the current situation in Iraq, and the United State's relationship with Israel.
Rice also said that she would not serve again as Secretary of State if asked. She said that, like her predecessor Colin Powell, she does not intend to run for public office.
She is currently a tenured professor at Stanford University.
Rice, who spoke with 24 Hour News 8 political reporter Rick Albin, will be the guest on To The Point at 10 a.m. Sunday on WOOD TV8.
