GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - The Republican primary for the 76th House seat features Democrat-turned-Republican Roy Schmidt and write-in candidate Bing Goei.

The winner of the August 7 primary may face Democrat Winnie Brinks, who is also waging a write-in campaign. If she earns enough votes, her name will appear on the November ballot to take on the winner of the Republican primary.
