JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (WOOD) - David Penton is a freshman defensive lineman at Eagle's View Academy in Jacksonville, Fla.
He's only played a handful of snaps this season, but he's still an inspiration to anyone who sees him on the field.
Because of a birth defect, Penton had both of his legs amputated above the knee when he was just 1 year old.
He's now 15, and a member of the Warriors football team despite his limitations.
David has gotten in for a few plays in each of Eagle's View's first two games this season.
As you can imagine, the crowd and the players on the sideline go wild when No. 66 enters the game because he is living proof that almost every obstacle can be overcome with perseverance and determination.
