GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - There a lot of questions about how right-to-work legislation signed into law Tuesday will affect Michigan, its companies and workers' money.

24 Hour News 8 asked viewers to pose their questions on our Facebook page.

Among those questions:

  • Amber Borrello asked, "If people are already in a union, can they voluntarily remove themselves from the union?"
  • Bob Persky wanted to know: "Is it federal law that unions must represent workers whether they pay dues or not?"
  • "Do those who choose not to be in a union and not pay union dues still have union backing or union support?" Shawna Veltema asked.
  • David Boeve asked, "What will this mean for teacher unions? Has the MEA been exceptionally quiet on this?"

Watch above for Political Reporter Rick Albin's answers to those questions.
