LANSING, Mich. (AP) - The number of ballot issues that voters could face in November continues to swell.

Three more groups turned in petition signatures by Monday's late-afternoon deadline.

The Michigan Alliance for Prosperity submitted signatures on a ballot proposal that would change the state constitution to require a two-thirds vote in the House and Senate to raise taxes, rather than a simple majority.

A group called The People Should Decide submitted signatures on a proposal requiring Michigan voters to approve the building of any international bridge between the state and Canada.

Signatures also were submitted for the Keep Home Care a Safe Choice proposal that would to create a new regulatory structure for home health care providers and allow them to unionize.

Signatures for five other proposals already have been submitted.
