DETROIT (AP) -- Gov. Jennifer Granholm says she wants to make it easier for entrepreneurs to access support to help them start or grow their business in Michigan.
Granholm spoke Thursday at a roundtable that included entrepreneurs who had gone through a training program. She said the focus this year must be on "creating jobs by creating employers."
The Democratic stopped at Wayne State University's Tech Town, a business incubator, to discuss new tools to help small and medium-sized businesses grow and create jobs.
Granholm's appearance comes a day after her State of the State speech , where she discussed the plans to set aside $200,000 to teach budding entrepreneurs and help provide $43 million for small business loans.
