Wood-burning stove fire spreads in home

BLOOMINGDALE, Mich. (WOOD) - Everybody escaped a fire inside a Van Buren County residence Tuesday morning.

A fire inside a wood-burning stove got out of hand and spread to the interior of the residence in the 9000 block of 46th Street in Bloomingdale.

Residents called 911 at 2:01 a.m. and firefighters from at least four departments were dispatched.

There is no word yet on the cause of the fire.
