SOUTH HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Two people are in custody and two others may face charges in connection with an undercover drug bust.
Detectives from the Michigan State Police Southwest Enforcement Team and officers from the South Haven Police Department led the investigation.
An undercover detective purchased marijuana from a male suspect around 9:30 p.m. Monday in South Haven.
Detectives then followed the suspect, another male and two females to a motel room near M-140 and Blue Star Highway in South Haven Township, according to a news release.
Authorities talked to the occupants of the room and found heroin, marijuana, hypodermic needles, pipes used for smoking drugs, spoons for using heroin, and a possible stolen credit card.
One male and one female were arrested.
The other suspects may face prosecution pending the outcome of crime lab analysis of the drugs that were found.
