NILES TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Two juveniles are accused of committing about 30 burglaries in a Berrien County community.
The suspects will be petitioned to Fifth District Probate Court.
Detectives from the Berrien County Sheriff's Department received a tip at 10:49 a.m. Oct. 5 regarding stolen property in the 2100 block of Spansail Street in Niles Township.
The items were recovered at a residence and further investigation led to the discovery of about 30 additional car/garage break-ins in the Oak Manor subdivision.
In the last three months, several residents in this neighborhood have had reported such crimes.
