NILES TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A man was arrested after police found a cache of stolen items in his pickup truck during a traffic stop.

Gary Yaw, 49, from Niles was taken into custody on outstanding warrants.

Deputies from Berrien County stopped his vehicle on S. 11th Street near Fulkerson Road in Niles Township at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday.

Police noticed the stolen items in the bed of the vehicle.

Those items were taken from a breaking-and-entering case in Niles Township on July 7, police said.
