BLOOMINGDALE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A 41-year-old man will face charges following an explosion at a Van Buren County house that injured his face and eyes.

The man lives in a house in the 43000 block of County Road 390. Around 4 p.m. Wednesday, an explosion at that house injured the man, who was driven to a nearby hospital in a private car.

After getting a search warrant, investigators found marijuana and meth plus evidence of a meth-making operation, various drug paraphernalia, and $1301 in cash.

The exact cause of the explosion is not known at this time.

However, the man -- who has not yet been arrested -- will face three charges: possession of marijuana, possession of meth and maintaining a drug house.
