2 arrested; drugs, guns, cash seized

GOBLES, Mich. (WOOD) - Two people were arrested during a bust in Van Buren County in which numerous guns, drugs and cash were seized at a residence.

A 46-year-old man from Gobles faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, felony firearm, and maintaining a drug house.

A 39-year-old woman from Gobles faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, felony firearm, and maintaining a drug house.

The Van Buren County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit received a tip about someone using and selling the drugs inside a residence in Gobles.

Detectives obtained and executed a search warrant for the home in the 400 block of S. State Street around 4:35 p.m. Tuesday, and saw the suspects inside.
 
Detectives found meth, 1 pound of marijuana, and several firearms -- including multiple shotguns and handguns -- inside the residence.

Detectives also seized $501 in cash and arrested the suspects.
