GENEVA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A 20-year-old man from Grand Junction was cited for disobeying a stop sign and causing a two-vehicle crash in Van Buren County.
He man was driving south on County Road 681 and did not stop at the intersection of County Road 380 in Geneva Township, according to a news release. His pickup truck then collided with the woman’s westbound car at 3:39 p.m. on Sept. 8.
The 25-year-old woman from Bangor suffered chest pains and facial Injuries, and taken to a hospital.
The suspect suffered a laceration to his head he refused to be taken to a hospital.
Both drivers used seat belts and alcohol was not a factor in the crash, police said.
