DECATUR TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Firefighters were called twice to a Van Buren County home in a six-hour span.
Firefighters were first called about 8 p.m. Sunday to the residence on 42nd Street near 82nd Avenue in Decatur Township on a report of smoke showing in the home.
But they didn't find anything and cleared the scene.
When the homeowners got home about 2 a.m. Monday, they saw their home was on fire.
So 911 was called again and firefighters arrived a second time. It took about two hours for the flames to be extinguished.
No one was hurt in the incident and a cause of the fire is still being investigated.
