PAW PAW, Mich. (WOOD) - A portion of a Van Buren County road was closed for several hours Friday due to an accident.
Traffic was rerouted along M-51 near Paw Paw Road, south of I-94 and north of Decatur, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
A semi-truck collided with a farm tractor hauling a container of weed killer, police told 24 Hour News 8. The chemical spilled and an environmental cleanup crew was called to the scene.
A viewer told 24 Hour News 8 the tractor driver suffered bumps and bruises, and was treated and released at a hospital.
