SOUTH HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A 20-year-old Battle Creek man is in jail after sheriff deputies arrested him with 17 ecstasy tablets in his pocket.
The Van Buren Sheriffs Department tells 24 Hour News 8 they pulled over a white Oldsmobile for driving left of center and having defective equipment.
The driver was found to have a suspended driver's license, so they arrested the driver. When searching the driver, they found 17 tablets of ecstasy in his pocket. The driver denied any involvement with the pills -- he said he found the tablets in a local park.
Deputies believe the driver was seen Saturday in South Haven City, possibly dealing drugs. The driver is currently in a Van Buren County Jail.
