LEONIDAS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A man received a ticket after police said he caused a two-vehicle crash in St. Joseph County.
Ronald Genzink was driving his pickup truck south on Fulton Road and tried to cross M-60 in Leonidas Township, police said.
Genzink's vehicle pulled out in front of Philip Kee's semi-truck, which was southbound on M-60, resulting in a collision at 2:35 p.m. Thursday.
Genzink's vehicle sustained heavy damage in the crash, according to a news release. He was transported to Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo for treatment to serious injuries. He is in stable condition.
Genzink, 53, from Holland, was cited for failing to yield.
Kee is 55 and from Granger, Ind.
