LA GRANGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - One of three people involved in a two-vehicle crash in Cass County was hurt.
The incident occurred at 12:34 p.m. Monday as Emmanuel Jacobs was driving north on Dailey Road when he did not stop at a traffic light at the intersection of Pokagon Highway in La Grange Township, police said.
His vehicle then collided with an eastbound vehicle driven by James Hershberger who was unable to avoid a collision.
Jacobs, 22, from South Bend, Ind., was injured and taken to a hospital.
Hershberger, 24, from Vandalia and his passenger -- 53-year-old John Fisher from Dowagiac -- were not hurt.
Police said in a news release that everybody used their seat belts and alcohol was not a factor.

A separate crash occurred at the same intersection in July, resulting in several people suffering injuries when two vehicles collided.
