2 arrested in Colon Twp meth lab bust

COLON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Two people were arrested in connection with a methamphetamine lab bust in St. Joseph County.
Officers from the St. Joseph County Area Narcotics Unit on Tuesday executed a search warrant in the 33000 block of Maryann Drive in Colon Township.
They found evidence to make meth, meth contents and marijuana.
Two residents -- a 36-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man -- were arrested on charges of operating and maintaining a meth lab, possession of meth, possession of marijuana, and maintaining a drug house.
Members of the St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department and Colon Police Department assisted at the scene.
