ANTWERP TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Two adults were arrested and a child was removed from a home where authorities conducted a drug bust.
A 57-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman were arrested on charges of operating/maintaining a meth lab, possession of meth with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, felony firearm, and maintaining a drug house.
A 31-year-old man was not arrested but could face charges of possession of methamphetamine.
The Van Buren County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit investigated possible meth manufacturing taking place at a residence in the 63000 block of County Road 652 in Antwerp Township.
Detectives obtained and executed a search warrant at noon Thursday, and discovered the aforementioned suspects, as well as a 33-year-old woman and a 2-year-old child, lived there.
Authorities then searched the residence and garage and located finished product meth, packaging materials, marijuana, a jar containing suspected meth oil from a one-pot meth lab, an HCL gas generator, pseudoephedrine tablets, additional items/components/materials/chemicals used in the manufacturing of meth, illegal drug paraphernalia and two shotguns.
Children's Protective Services removed the child from the home.
