ORONOKO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - An 84-year-old man died in a two-vehicle crash Oct. 18 in Berrien County.
Francis Nelson Dennis was a passenger in a vehicle driven by his 77-year-old wife, Julia Elaine Dennis, as they traveled south on M-139 north of Hinchman Road in Oronoko Township.
Their vehicle collided with a northbound vehicle driven by 20-year-old Keddy Dwight Emmanuel from Oronoko Township.
Police released few details about the incident.
Francis died from his injuries. Julia and Emmanuel were hospitalized.
As of Tuesday, Emmanuel has since been treated and released.
"Because of the extent of the injuries of Mrs. Dennis and Mr. Emmanuel, it has hampered the investigators' ability to talk with them about the events leading up to the crash," police said in a news release.
