COLDWATER TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A man who hadn't been seen since Tuesday was found safe at his home Thursday.
State police in Branch County asked for the public's help in locating Kim Allen Vanlandingham.
The 58-year-old from the Coldwater area was last seen around 2 p.m. Tuesday walking north on Old 27 near Girard.
Vanlandingham, diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, is known to seek secluded areas, such as the woods, police said in a news release Thursday morning.
He was considered extremely vulnerable to current weather conditions, and believed to be headed toward the Traverse City area, based on past behavior.
He was located at his house around 1 p.m. Thursday.
