NILES, Mich. (WOOD) - Two men have been arrested after police said they burglarized two Berrien County stores.
The crimes occurred between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Feb. 2 at Red Bud Liquor, 3213 W. Front St. in Buchanan Township, and AME General Store, 2310 N. Fifth St. in Niles.
The thieves broke the front door to gain access from the liquor store, police said. They entered through a rear window and fled after activating an alarm at the general store.
Police were able to track down and arrest Howard Baker III, 22, of Galien and Jacob Walkden, 19, of Three Oaks.
