LAGRANGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Two people were arrested Tuesday following a raid at a Cass County residence.
The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team investigated the production of methamphetamine and marijuana at two locations on O'Keefe Road and Engle Street in LaGrange Township.
Angelique Lane, 44, was located inside a residence along with meth, marijuana, firearms parts and several cans of ammunition, according to a news release.
Detectives found components to manufacture meth, used and discarded meth lab materials, meth, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a loaded rifle, and marijuana growing at a nearby barn.
Kevin Abiney, 49, was located and detained after a foot chase.
Lane and Abiney were taken into custody.
Lane was arraigned for possession of meth, possession of marijuana, and maintaining a drug house. A bond was set at $40,000.
Abiney was arraigned for manufacturing meth, production of hazardous waste, delivering meth, possession of meth, felon in possession of a firearm, felony firearms, manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana, and maintaining a drug house. A bond was set at $80,000.
