GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Want to see the Detroit Tigers play in the World Series at Comerica Park? Be careful where you buy your tickets.
Dearborn police reported fraudulent Tigers tickets were bought online through Craigslist. A seller named Kodi Akins, a.k.a. Fred, sold "tickets" to a Tigers-Athletics playoff game to a number of people who were denied entry to the game because the tickets were fake.
Akins, police believe, may be responsible for similar scams in St. Louis and Chicago. He was last seen driving a Lexus with an Indiana license plate 282AZI.
If you are planning on going to Detroit for a game, though, Michigan Department of Transportation put Comerica Park travel information in the Spotlight section of the MDOT website.
