JENISON, Mich. (WOOD) - A West Michigan man is going from homeless to having a home all because of a lucky purchase.

The Michigan lottery says Abel Aguado-Belmudez won the $100,000 Cashwood instant lottery.

He purchased the ticket at the Jenison Meijer.

Aguado-Belmudez is a father of two, and has been living with relatives because he could not afford rent.

When he realized he had won, the lottery says he "almost fell down."

Aguado-Belmudez says he plans to buy a new house with his winnings.
