Red-light runner causes 2-vehicle crash

Three people were injured

Two drivers and a passenger were injured after police say one of the drivers drove through a red traffic light and his pickup truck crashed into the other vehicle.

The accident occurred at around 1:30 p.m. Monday on U.S. 31 near Quincy Street north of Holland.

The man who police say caused the wreck, a 72-year-old from Holland, was taken to Holland Hospital with internal injuries.

The driver of the car, a Zeeland man in his 20s, and his passenger, a Zeeland woman in her 20s, received minor injuries in the collision.
