HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) - Holland police said a disagreement at a party early Thursday morning led to a fight and a stabbing.
Two people got into a disagreement that eventually became physical, police said.
Other partygoers tried to break up the fight and that is when someone was stabbed several times in the abdomen, police said in news release.
Both the suspect and victim fled the residence once officers arrived in the 300 block of W. 22nd Street.
A police K-9 unit tracked down the victim at a residence several blocks away. The 24-year-old Holland man was transported to Holland Community Hospital, and later treated and released.
The victim is not helping police with the case.
So witnesses are asked to call the Holland Department of Public Safety at 616.355.1100 or Silent Observer at 1.877.88.SILENT (745368) to assist detectives.
