HOLLAND, MIch. (WOOD) - A retired West Michigan judge died Friday.
Robert Danhof, 87, was born in Grand Rapids and worked in West Michigan throughout his life.
He was an assistant U.S. attorney for several years, the U.S. Attorney for Western Michigan, and became a judge on the state Court of Appeals in 1969. He was chief judge from 1976 to 1992 when he retired.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Langeland Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St. in Holland.
His funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Hope Church, 77 W. 11th St. in Holland.
