Police search for Holland armed robber

Robbed gas station at 700 block of Chicago Drive

HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) - Police are looking for an armed man after he held up a gas station early Sunday morning and got away with cash.

The Holland Department of Public Safety responded to the Speedway gas station in the 700 block of Chicago Drive just after to 2 am.

They tell us a man had entered the store, indicated he had a gun, demanded cash from the register and threatened to shoot the clerk if they didn't do as he said.

After getting money from the clerk the man took of on foot heading south.

A police K-9 unit was brought in but officers were not able to locate the suspect.

He's described as a 6 foot tall white male with a chin beard, wearing a blue striped hoodie and blue jeans.  Police consider the suspect armed and dangerous.
