HUDSONVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) - Park Elementary School students are back in school after a widespread illness canceled classes Friday.
The Ottawa County Health Department told 24 Hour News 8 it is sending samples to try and figure out what caused about 100 students and staff to get sick last week.
The health department said the symptoms are similar to a stomach virus.
Officials said it's too early to tell whether it was norovirus or something else.
They hope to learn the cause later this week.
