ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A Muskegon motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital Saturday after missing a curve along the Grand River.

The crash happened around 4:15 p.m. where North Cedar Drive and 128th Avenue curve together in Ottawa County's Robinson Township.

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Department identified the biker at Anthony Dexter, 49. Investigators said it appeared he was driving too fast, and was unable to make the curve.

Dexter was airlifted to a Grand Rapids hospital by AeroMed with serious head injuries. The hospital listed him in critical condition.

He was not wearing a helmet.
