HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) - A man and woman were robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night on a Holland street after they left a party store with beer and other items.
Around 9:45 p.m, Holland police said, the 24-year-old man and 30-year-old woman left the Kings Cove store at 17th Street near Ottawa Avenue. As they walked down the street, the suspect ran up behind them.
The man ran, but the suspect pulled a gun on the woman and threatened to shoot her unless the man came back. He did, and gave the suspect his wallet, money, bank card, ID and cell phone. The woman handed the suspect her beer. She had nothing else with her.
The suspect got away, but is described as a skinny black man, about 5-feet-8, 150 pounds with a scruffy, three-day beard and short curly black hair. He was last seen wearing an unbuttoned plaid shirt with a dark undershirt and baggy blue jeans.
He was carrying a black-and-silver handgun.
If you have any information, you're asked to contact the Holland Police Department at 616.355.1126.
