CROCKERY TWP., Mich. (WOOD) - One person is dead after a motorcycle crash in Ottawa County Saturday.

Police say Chauncey Reynolds, 45, from Pullman, was killed Saturdays afternoon on I-96 near the Nunica exit.

Witnesses tell 24 Hour News 8 Reynolds was speeding when he apparently lost control and crashed.

Police closed the westbound lanes of the highway around 5 p.m. so an aeromed helicopter could land at the scene.

Drivers were routed off the highway to get around the accident scene.
