GRAND HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A woman died after she was ejected from her SUV, which crashed in Ottawa County.
Carol Perrier, 58, from Grand Haven Township was pronounced dead at the scene.
She was driving south on 168th Avenue when she lost control of her 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe near Pine Dunes Court in Grand Haven Township.
The vehicle crossed both lanes of traffic, hit a mailbox and then an embankment, and spun 180 degrees, resulting in Perrier being ejected due to not wearing a seat belt, police said.
Police and rescue personnel arrived at the scene around 9:45 p.m. Sunday and tried but could not revive Perrier.
