Garage explodes near Allendale

TALLMADGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Several propane tanks may be the cause of an explosion that caused quite the scene in an Ottawa County community.

Many viewers contacted 24 Hour News 8 Monday night after hearing loud booms coming from an area near Lake Michigan Drive and 24th Avenue in Tallmadge Township.

The blast occurred inside a garage, which was destroyed.

Nobody was hurt in the incident.
