HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) - A funeral cortege occurred Wednesday morning for a Holland native who was killed last month during combat in Afghanistan.
Gunnery Sgt. Daniel Price was on his sixth deployment in the region and third in the country.
The 27-year-old's body arrived at Tulip City Airport Wednesday and then a patriot guard followed through town to the funeral home.

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Langeland-Sterenberg-Yntema Funeral Home in Holland.
Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Aug. 11 at Central Wesleyan Church in Holland. Burial will be at Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
