Freight train derails in Holland

No one hurt

    HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) - A freight train derailed in Holland Thursday evening. 

    "A couple of cars off the tracks on a spur near Boatwerks restaurant. Minor, as far as train matters go," Holland Mayor Kurt Dykstra tweeted at WOOD TV8.

    No one was hurt when two cabooses slipped off the rails.

    Snow and ice is the tentative cause of the derailment, which didn't affect traffic in the area, according to the Associated Press.
