HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) - Electronics and purses were stolen in several car robberies in Holland.

The robberies happened Friday night in the area of Central Avenue and East 14th to East 21st Street.

All of the vehicles that were robbed were unlocked, Holland police Capt. Jack Dykstra said. The robbers probably simply walked along the street looking for easy targets.

Items like iPods and GPS devices were taken. Stealing electronics from a vehicle is a four-year felony, Dykstra said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Holland Police Department at 616.355.1100 or Silent Observer at 877.887.4536.
