GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Fire and smoke heavily damaged a Park Township home Wednesday afternoon when no one was home. However, two dogs and two cats were rescued.
The two-story house at 1424 Sandy Run had flames and heavy smoke pouring from the side of the house where the fireplace is located. Neighbors saw the smoke and called the fire department.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
