ALLENDALE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A wrong-way driver was injured after her car collided with a pickup truck on an Ottawa County road, police said.

The unnamed, 42-year-old woman from Holland suffered head and back injuries, and is listed in stable condition at a hospital. Police said she may have been drunk at the time of the collision.

The other driver -- 29-year-old Daniel Gibson of Allendale Township, was not hurt.

The wreck occurred around 2:20 a.m. Friday on Lake Michigan Drive near 48th Avenue in Allendale Township.

The woman was traveling east in the westbound lanes, when her Pontiac Vibe sideswiped Gibson's Chevrolet pickup truck, according to the sheriff's department.
