HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A woman died at the scene of a collision between a van and a semi-truck in Ottawa County Friday afternoon.
The victim has been identified as 75-year-old Theresa DeVries from Zeeland.
She was driving south on 112th Avenue and stopped for a red traffic light at the intersection of Chicago Drive in Holland Township around 2 p.m., witnesses told police.
Her minivan then rolled into the intersection and a westbound semi-truck struck her vehicle's driver's side door, police said.
DeVries may have suffered a medical condition, causing her vehicle to roll forward.
The truck driver from Holland was not injured.
