HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Police in Ottawa County are searching for three people accused of assaulting a teenager and then robbing him.

Police were called about 2 p.m. Tuesday to the Leisure Estates Mobile Home Park, 523 Butternut Dr. in Holland Township.

That is where police said the three strangers approached the 17-year-old victim who was walking along the street near his home.

The suspects then punched the teen until he was on the ground, and then held a switchblade to his throat, police said.

The suspects ran from the scene after stealing some cash and personal belongings from the teen, police said.

The teen suffered some injuries to his face but was not hospitalized.

If you know anything about this incident you are asked to call the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department or Silent Observer at 1.877.88.SILENT (745368).
