HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - The Ottawa County Sheriff's Department arrested a Holland Township woman Monday for her alleged involvement in dozens of recent larcenies.
Authorities say that over the past few months, both Holland Township and Park Township areas have seen a large number of larcenies from vehicles. In one recent case, credit cards were stolen and used at a local business.
Further investigation led authorities to a 22-year-old woman whose vehicle and physical description were linked to several other larceny complaints.
Authorities arrested the woman at her residence on unrelated property crime warrants.
Dozens of motor vehicle larcenies have been solved since the arrest, the Sheriff's Department said. Thousands of dollars in property have already been recovered and authorities are locating the owners to return the stolen goods.
The woman is now awaiting charges.
