HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Police believe one car ran a stop sign north of Zeeland Sunday night, sending three people to the hospital.
The crash happened just before 10:30 p.m. at the corner of 104th Avenue and Quincy Street.
Police said a Ford Taurus driven by Joshua Hossink, 20, from Olive Township, ran the stop sign on 104th Avenue at Quincy Street.
When Hossink ran the stop sign, his car hit a vehicle driving east on Quincy. Two Hudsonville residents were in that car - Logan Schaeffer, 20, and Leanne Woodwyk, 20. Both were taken to the hospital by ambulance, their injuries were not life-threatening.
Hossink was trapped in his car for about 30 minutes before crews were able to free him. He was then taken by medical helicopter to a Grand Rapids hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
