Neighbors: Home hit during drive-by

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Residents in a Holland Township neighborhood say a home hit with bullets may be connected to a drive-by shooting.

The incident occurred around 11 p.m. Wednesday in the 13000 block of Mirage Court.

The homeowner heard several gunshots and glass breaking in his residence and called 911.

Police arrived and discovered several rounds from a small caliber weapon that penetrated the house. No one inside was injured.

Investigators say the bullets were probably fired from a vehicle from the street in front. Detectives have talked with several neighbors who say a vehicle left the area at a high rate of speed at about the time of the shooting.
