CROCKERY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A 25-year-old man from Wyoming died hours after he crashed his motorcycle.
Ian McKay was traveling west on Leonard Street in Crockery Township when he failed to negotiate a turn and struck a guard rail, police say.
The accident happened just before 5 p.m. Tuesday and closed Leonard Street near 136th Avenue for nearly an hour.
McKay, who was wearing a helmet, suffered a critical head injury and was taken to a hospital. He died later Tuesday night.
Police think speed was a factor in the accident.
