ALLENDALE, Mich. (WOOD) - Ottawa County authorities say a man accused of peeping into windows also broke into an Allendale residence in May.

The 26-year-old Allendale Township man was arrested Friday near Lake Michigan Drive and 48th Avenue near Grand Valley Sate University campus for allegedly window-peeping.

Xavier JaJuan Davis was arraigned Monday on first-degree home invasion charges.

Davis allegedly entered an apartment at Copper Beech Townhomes in May, according to authorities.

A 22-year-old woman living at that apartment said she woke in the middle of the night and saw a man wearing a ski mask in her bedroom doorway. She screamed and he fled.

Police said window-peeping charges in connection to other incidents may follow.

Bond was set at $10,000. Davis remains at the Ottawa County Jail.
