GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Hudsonville's Jordan and Jacob Vanderstel were the grand marshals at Sunday's 'Show Me the CARFAX Race Weekend' at Michigan International Speedway.
The Vanderstels were on duty for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series CARFAX 400.
"Jordan and Jacob are great kids whose excitement and enthusiasm typifies what NASCAR fans can expect this weekend at MIS," said Larry Gamache, the communications director at Carfax, in a press release.
Jordan Vanderstel, 19, and Jacob Vanderstel, 14, have muscular dystrophy.
The teens are huge NASCAR fans: Jordan's favorite driver is Jimmie Johnson and Jacob's is Jeff Gordon.
They had the chance to meet several drivers before the race, including Johnson, Gordon, Carl Edwards and Tony Stewart.
