HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) - A 10-year-old girl suffered a broken arm when she ran in front of a car Wednesday morning in Holland.
Witnesses told police the girl ran in front of a car around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of 40th and S. Washington. The driver had the right-of-way and wasn't speeding, police said, when the girl ran into the road.
Emergency responders took the girl to Holland Community Hospital, where she was treated for the broken arm, bruises and lacerations.
The driver was not issued a ticket.
Holland police remind everyone to be especially careful with Halloween trick-or-treaters.
